In your role as Payments Product Manager, your focus on product quality is consistent and relentless to deliver next-level Global Payments capabilities. 

 

Responsibilities:

Developing and delivering the product roadmap for Payments with a specific focus on the UK payment environment, including Faster Payments, Bacs, CHAPS, NPA, and other developments to build and enhance our payment capability by proactively driving change in an agile way.

Advocating and understanding the needs of customers, within a complex and rapidly changing environment.

Working closely with payment schemes and regulators to design and schedule payments connectivity with tight deadlines.

Understanding industry trends to ensure the product capabilities and directions will ensure The Bank of London establishes and maintains leadership in the Payments segment.

Acting as a day-to-day contact for all payment-related product queries, dealing with and escalating any issues to management in a timely manner.

  

What You Bring:

Experience with payment schemes, either directly or through working with a Bank/PSP.

You have a deep and broad knowledge of the payments industry, notably in the UK & Europe – Bacs, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SEPA & SWIFT.

You keep your finger on the pulse of trends and regulatory changes in the Global Payments space such as Real Time Payments, New Payments Architecture (NPA), and Open Banking.
