Who are we working with?

Abacus Careers are currently working alongside a highly established company based in Belfast, seeking to recruit 2 payroll administrators for a 6 month contract with possibility of permanent employment, reviewed after 6 months

Immediate start for the right candidates

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll information in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accuracy and integrity of data on payroll and time and attendance systems,
  • Preparing and issuing payslips,
  • Producing payroll reports as required and liaising with managers and HR teams to resolve any queries that may arise.

Experience Needed:

  • You will be an experienced administrator with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar office environment.
  • You will be computer literate and able to demonstrate strong organisation skills, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are also required as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Preference will be given to those with previous payroll experience,
  • Along with knowledge of payroll and time and attendance systems.
  • A minimum of GCSE grade C, or equivalent, in Maths and English is also required.
