This is an opportunity to join the senior finance team in building an internal payroll function which you will manage from end-to-end. The main responsibilities of the Payroll Manager are:
- Responsible for payroll preparation including calculations and review.
- Preparing and maintaining weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for a group of entities operating across the UK, ROI & Europe.
- Analytical review of weekly payroll reports to project costing to ensure profitability
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns
- Ad-hoc payroll advice both internally and externally
- Administer auto enrolment and pension schemes
- Liaising with HR department and overseeing effective resolution of payroll queries from staff
- Assist in maintaining financial information and systems
- Undertake training opportunities and stay on top of legislation and best practices in Payroll
We are looking for someone passionate about their work, who is people-focused with great communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should have:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a relevant payroll environment
- Working knowledge of NI and ROI Payroll Legislation
- Willing to attend international Payroll courses
- Strong IT skills and be Microsoft Excel proficient.
- Ability to analyse financial information to aid in business decision-making and planning
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals
- Must have strong organisational skills and ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, to prioritise workload and multi-task
- Proactive approach, open to change and developing new ways of working
- Experience working with Brightpay and Sage Payroll is desirable
Salary: Competitive, depending on level of experience
