Abacus are delighted to be working with a fantastic and well established company based in Belfast City, in recent years, have undergone huge success and growth. Due to this, they are seeking to add a Payroll Manager/Senior to their busy team.

In your new role:

This role will focus on managing a senior payroll specialist and processing the full payroll process for a variety of practice clients. You will be responsible for liaising with clients and managing their company payroll, this will involve:

• End-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients
• Ensuring all payrolls are executed to a high standard, and delivered on time
• Support client portfolio to ensure client expectations are managed and fulfilled
• Registration of new PAYE with HMRC and set up new companies on Sage Payroll
• Assisting with key reports for clients and management
• Submit reports to HMRC
• Set up and process starters and leavers
• Set up and administration of pensions to providers and the Pension Regulator
• Creation of BACS files for payment processing
• Issuing payslips, P60s and P45s
• Ad-hoc duties to assist the Payroll Manager as needed

Who we are looking for:

To be successful within this role, you will have the following:

• Previous experience within payroll is essential.
• Sage Payroll experience would be highly desirable.
• You will be a team player, who has excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Info:

• Hours 8.15-5 Monday to Thursday (flexible with start and finish times)

• 8.30-1 Fridays
• 45 min lunch
• 33 hols/year incl stats
• Hybrid model in place should you want to work a few days from home each week.
• Salary depending on experience
