As a Payroll Specialist your role will involve:

• Accurate and timely processing of all company payrolls, supporting the end-to-end processing
• Providing first line of support to the Payroll Administrator in processing all monthly payrolls
• Providing advice and guidance to staff, management, and HR
• Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries, escalating when necessary
• Responsible for keeping all employee data updated and managing ad-hoc requests, reporting and projects when required

Experience and Knowledge to fulfil the role:

• 2+ years’ experience of large, complex payrolls
• Up to date understanding of UK payroll legislation
• Experience of working with various stakeholders in a professional environment
• Experience of dealing with complex employee queries
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
• Strong proficiency in payroll software(s) and manual calculations
• Qualification in payroll is desirable (E.g., CIPP membership)

Furthermore, if you have experience using Workday Payroll and experience of payroll projects and integrations, this will be highly advantageous! If you are a highly motivated individual who can thrive under pressure and exercise confidentiality in your role, then we want to meet you!
