QA/Support Engineer – multiple contract roles

2x QA/Support Engineers needed to work on an initial 3 month contract. This role is offering fully remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Writing test cases and scripts

• Carrying out System testing and Acceptance testing

• Analysis of test results and associated impact to user, data etc.

• Documenting System testing and Acceptance testing results and objective feedback

• Triaging and responding to user requests
  • Second line support:
    • troubleshooting user issues
    • raising requests to User Services teams for onboarding new users etc
    • passing of complex tickets and bugs to 3rd line support team for investigation / resolution; and coordinating same
    • raising product enhancement requests to Tech PM
    • identifying and passing back first line support queries (simple user queries) to user SMEs
• Working with Tech PM to ensure tickets are prioritised appropriately (where appropriate)
• Tracking and managing tickets; including ensuring regular communication with user community (where appropriate)
• Establishing/building out support process and ticket logging system (with appropriate metrics / reporting) (where appropriate)

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven work experience as a Technical Tester
• Experience of writing test cases and scripts
• Experience carrying out System testing and Acceptance testing
• Knowledge of workflow systems – ideally Salesforce
• Experience providing technical support
• Experience of following escalation protocols appropriately (that is, experience of identifying issues that need to flagged Project Management, Compliance etc)
• Experience of Microsoft products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Desirable: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure data factory
