18 October, 2023Our client is a leading manufacturer seeking to recruit a Recruitment Business Partner , a critical role for the organisation. You will be responsible for attracting, assessing, and acquiring top talent to meet the organisation’s strategic workforce needs. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, understanding their staffing requirements, and implementing effective recruitment strategies to ensure the business’ success.
The Recruitment Business Partner will report to the HR Manager and work closely with the L&D (Learning and Development) Manager to ensure they are providing a sufficient and robust talent pipeline to support the delivery of the business requirements. The individual will manage the development of an effective and consistent selection processes and ensure the administration activities associated with the selection process are followed.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Workforce Planning : Collaborate with department heads and business leaders to understand their short-term and long-term staffing needs, aligning recruitment efforts with the company’s growth objectives.
Talent Sourcing: Employ various sourcing methods, including job fairs, social media, employee referrals, networking, and industry events, to identify and engage potential candidates.
Candidate Assessment: Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the job requirements and cultural fit while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
Employer Branding: Promote the organisation’s employer brand to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a positive online and offline presence.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical roles to reduce time [1] to-fill and ensure a consistent pool of qualified candidates Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including creating job postings, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and making job offers.
Compliance : Stay up to date with labour laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with legal requirements
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR business partners, hiring managers, and cross functional teams to facilitate a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, tools, and strategies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of talent acquisition practices.
Data Analytics: Utilise data and analytics to assess recruitment performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimise the hiring process
Candidate Requirements
Education: Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources or business related discipline, or a recognised professional Human resources qualification at a minimum of Level 5
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a demonstrated track record of successful hires
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, terminology, and the unique challenges of recruiting for this sector is highly desirable.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align recruitment efforts with the organisation’s strategic goals and provide insights into workforce planning.
Sourcing Skills: Proficiency in using various sourcing tools and techniques to identify and engage candidates.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey the company’s culture and values to candidates
Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to measure recruitment success and make informed decisions.
Team Collaboration: Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of employment laws and regulations, ensuring recruitment processes comply with legal requirements.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with recruitment software/tools
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet recruitment targets and deliver results.
