21 February, 2023Our client is seeking to recruit a Sales & Production Administrator, you will be joining a company who are specialists in bespoke corrugated packaging. They supply to major organisations from a range of industries including food, pharmaceuticals, and retail. The business has grown significantly leading to investment in new machinery and expansion to a second site.
Purpose of the role
You will be the main link between customers, suppliers, production, and sales teams, as you will supply quotations, process orders and carrying out sales & production admin related paperwork efficiently. We are looking for an individual with a good ability to prioritise, as you will be working with multiple means of communications.
You will be responsible for a broad range of administrative tasks such as collating production and sales data, along with any other general admin tasks or duties required to support a busy sales and production office.
Main duties will include but not limited to :
Pricing and order processing (process daily box, board and packaging related product quotations and orders)
Out-source packaging and non-packaging related products from suppliers
Support customer with design and process of samples
Monitor repeat orders and support with sales communication to customers.
Complete the stock take and update supplier pricing.
Deal with all customer complaints and supplier non-conformances
Maintain risk and compliance records – ISO, Wood Audit, Transport Document, HR Documents etc.
Assist with production planning and logistic scheduling.
This role requires strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
Desired criteria:
Educated to at least GCSE level
Experience with Microsoft software (particularly Excel)
At least 1 year experience in an administrative role
At least 1 year experience in a sales / customer service role
Other details about this role:
Shifts are Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 & Friday 08:00 – 14:30 with the opportunity to work overtime
Pay is negotiable based on your value to the business.
