As a Senior Communications Executive, you will be responsible for helping to tell engaging stories via content, PR, and corporate communications. You will also play a pivotal role in driving our organisational thought-leadership agenda. Working with colleagues across senior leadership, technical specialists, marketing, and brand, you will develop and implement communications campaigns that fully align with commercial priorities to support our global growth. You will foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner on PR and corporate communications.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and managing strategy, plans and budgets – you will contribute to the creation and implementation of strategies and plans for corporate communications, aligned to commercial priorities, working with the team to ensure delivery is on time and within budget.
Owning, creating, and activating campaigns and content – you will play a key role in the development and ongoing delivery of a brand-level thought leadership agenda to drive brand awareness and defined associations. You will also own key projects within a broader company calendar of corporate content, campaigns and PR.
Reporting, accountability and ROI – you will seek continual improvements in processes for thought-leadership and communications. You will work with the team to proactively engage and report upon communications, content, and campaigns – ensuring we clearly convey the commercial impact of our work in this space.
Working as a team with a focus on developing others – you will proactively work and collaborate as part of the wider marketing team to deliver against overall OKRs. You will use your experience and knowledge to upskill and help others develop in your areas of specialism. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor on content, communications, and PR.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
Significant relevant experience in PR, communications, and content development
Experience in developing and implementing content or communications that drive business results and/or meet objectives – from inception through to evaluation
Demonstrable understanding of PR, ability to write press releases and liaise with key media
A self-starter who is highly motivated, confident, focussed, disciplined with a drive to succeed, whilst upholding company values
Good knowledge or experience in the technology industry and understanding of trends in order to shape plans and content
A proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment; can-do attitude
Show resilience and persistence with the ability to learn from mistakes plus guidance and coaching from colleagues
Capable manging the workload of self and team while operating in a highly competitive and pressurised environment, meeting deadlines in accordance with business requirements
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to cultivate ideas, utilising creative writing while holding to branding and messaging direction and strategy
Ability to think ‘outside the box’
Comply with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensure security of information at all times.
DESIRABLE:
Degree or Higher in Marketing, Communications, or a similar, relevant discipline
Professional qualification in marketing or specialised area (e.g. CIM)
Broad experience of marketing techniques including eDM, automation/nurtures, webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising, and physical events; stays abreast of developments and willingness to coach/upskill team.
Experience of managing people or small team
Experience of owning marketing, communications, or content for an area of business, product, or project
Project management
Event management.
