We are recruiting an experienced transactional finance manager on behalf of one of our biggest clients here in Belfast. Operating across the world in over 20 countries, their network is vast, and you could play an integral part of leading the success of their Belfast Finance team.

 
We are looking for a leader, someone who is business savvy and has expertise in Payroll and/or Accounts Payable management.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and manage the Belfast Finance team providing direction, advice and guidance.
  • Overseeing the Payroll & Compensation function, working across Finance and HR to establish best practices for the payment and reporting of all matters pertaining to compensation.
  • Senior leadership of the Accounts Payable Function, proactively managing relationships to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Deliver process improvements and continuously drive change across the Belfast team.
  • Provide input into team objectives and contribute into the year-end appraisal process.
  • Point of escalation for any staff who has a complaint or concern related to their functional responsibilities, liaising with HR for appropriate support where necessary.
  • Primary point of contact on updates pertaining to Belfast, reporting as necessary to the EMEA FLT.

What you should offer:

  • Experience of managing a large and complex finance operations department
  • Advantageous if includes managing Payroll and Accounts Payable teams
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Experience in process improvements and managing change
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
