Senior Infrastructure Engineer – fully remote

Senior Infrastructure Engineer needed to join a leading Northern Ireland based insurance company. The successful candidate will form an integral part of the delivery of digital solutions to meet the needs of the company, and the delivery of high-quality Infrastructure projects and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying support trends, troubleshooting issues, and providing escalation point to others within the department or liaising with third parties when required.
• Providing 3^rd level support to core business within SLA timeframes
• Ensure high availability of enterprise voice and data platforms that support internal employee business functions and external customer contact.
• Architect, supervise and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex corporate data and voice infrastructure.
• Manage the Infrastructure project roadmap and delegate tasks to other infrastructure staff to ensure a timely delivery.

Essential:

• Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (including O365, Teams, Sharepoint etc.)
• Experience of Network Support & Security (e.g. Active Directory, Group Policy, Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls & VPN’s)
• 5 Years’ Experience of Server Support & Management (Windows Server, Exchange Server, VMware vCenter 7, SQL Server)
• Experience in Designing and maintaining infrastructure of IIS Web applications and Sites
• Experience of working with Disaster Recovery and / or Business Continuity processes and solutions.
• Working knowledge of security applications e.g. Web Proxies, Firewalls, SIEM
