Senior Infrastructure Manager

A leading global Law firm require a Senior Infrastructure Manager to lead in all technical matters relating to infrastructure services. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for End User Compute (EUC), systems (Infrastructure) and Networks operational support teams. The remit of this team is global and extends to all aspects of 3rd line support relating to the infrastructure and services.

Key responsibilities

Management, operation, and support of all infrastructure services including:

–          Maintenance, patching and administration routing and switching, perimeter security, voice platform, network management and monitoring tools.

–          Management of 3rd party infrastructure, network & voice service providers

–          EUC hardware (laptops/desktops/iPhones/iPads/all peripherals)

–          Maintenance, patching and administration of EUC Operating Systems – Windows, iOS, iPadOS, Windows 365

–          Maintenance, patching and administration of private & public cloud tenants – Azure/AWS/AVS, Windows server architecture (including clustering and SAN boot; Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; DFS), virtualisation – ESX/VMWare, Backup infrastructure, Citrix desktops and published applications

Criteria:

• Extensive job related experience supporting a number of the technologies listed in this job description
• Detailed practical knowledge of the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and services
• Expected to have a solid understanding of all technologies mentioned, business working practices and active working experience and understanding of the core applications
• Track record of managing global teams across multiple locations and data centres-based delivery of services
• Technical background with a wide range of experience across many technical areas (including disaster recovery)
