A major legal brand has tasked Abacus to hire a Senior Legal Project Manager. The role is based in Belfast and you will join a team that is expanding substantially. This team operates in Europe and the Middle East.

As a Senior Legal Project Manager, you will work across multiple legal departments which means you will get a variety of projects to focus on rather than the same pattern of work demands. You will communicate and collaborate extensively with internal Partners in the practice but also align with external customers frequently.

This role suits a very experienced subject matter expert with a strong background as a lawyer or indeed an experienced project manager ideally with legal experience. The existing teams reflect a mix of people and this mix works very effectively.

You will be a dynamic and forward-thinking professional who is confident in project planning but also delivery. You will be managing projects at the cutting edge of legal innovation with many high profile and high-value long term projects; but equally involved in short-term quick turnaround projects. You will also be actively involved in strategic thinking and planning, finding innovation within the LPM team – process, tech, geographic and team growth, etc.

You will also be involved in resourcing (projects, budgets, investments) so it offers a healthy blend of skills and experience. There is scale to grow this team further so a career elevation is likely beyond this opportunity.
