Abacus Careers are proud to once again be working with our client, a leading global law firm, as they continue to expand their Legal Engineering team. They’re currently on the lookout for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their ranks at Manager level.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the Data Science team with their research, and converting their findings into production grade solutions
• Working alongside the Legal Engineering team and senior stakeholders to refine acceptance criteria and drive change
• Sharing your knowledge amongst the team, whilst mentoring and inspiring more junior colleagues
• Continually improving not only the quality of production ML solutions, but your own skills and knowledge – you’ll be expected to keep your ideas fresh!

What do you need?

• Experience using Python, or other ML-focused programming languages (it’s a bonus if you also have experience with C# or Java)
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn and Spacy
• Strong problem solving skills and a can-do attitude, with a positive and scientific mindset

What would help you stand out?

• Experience with Microsoft technologies i.e., Azure etc
• Personal projects or demonstrable evidence of self-development/learning
• Experience of working in highly regulated sectors
