21 September, 2023Join a dynamic team of Network Reliability Engineers dedicated to transforming and enhancing network infrastructure. As a Senior Network Reliability Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the availability, resilience, security, and reliability of one of the largest Exchange network infrastructures globally.
Responsibilities:
Automation Expertise: Implement a code-first approach to automation.
Automation Solutions: Develop and maintain network monitoring, orchestration, and automation solutions, encompassing automated inventory reconciliation, workflow automation, network configuration validation, health monitoring, alerts handling, and incident remediation.
Performance Optimization: Monitor network infrastructure performance and proactively design automated solutions for issue resolution.
Compliance Assurance: Conduct regular automated audits to ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards.
Empower Teams: Provide self-service tools for troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues for other teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to design and deploy tools that streamline end-to-end processes within the network infrastructure.
API-Driven Approach: Develop services with an API-driven approach for seamless integration with other network-related services and teams.
Process Enhancement: Identify and automate repetitive tasks, improving internal processes and workflows.
Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation of solutions developed.
Release Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of build release pipelines.
Prioritization and Planning: Work with the team and stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, formalize release plans, and establish implementation schedules and dependencies.
Communication: Effectively communicate implementation issues, delays, and mitigation plans.
Innovation: Drive innovation to improve future processes and deployments.
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience in network automation.
- Proficiency with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Itential, Nautobot, or similar.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
- Innovative mindset and ability to think creatively.
- Strong understanding of Network Domain fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Network Asset and Configuration management processes.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies/tools (e.g., Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple factors concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred.
