Senior PHP Developer

They are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their team; someone with a strong interest in web technologies who would be responsible for the continuing development of multiple international information systems, as well as assisting with other amazing software projects when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal data systems and product support systems
• Contribute to automation across the company, applying your scripting experience to do so
• Assist the company with the technical side of the ISO 27001 auditing needs.

Must-Haves

• Minimum of 5 years commercial software development experience
• 4 years’ commercial experience of PHP development (ideally Object-Oriented PHP)
• 3 years’ experience of relationship databases (specifically MySQL)
• Strong analytical mindset
• A passion and curiosity to learn about the latest technologies

Desirable

• 2.1 degree or higher in Computer Science or similar
• Knowledge of secure coding practices for web development
• Experience working with open source projects
• Experience working with large PHP applications
• Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
