Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor specialising in Real Estate to join the dynamic Real Estate team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of real estate transactions, asset management, and due diligence projects. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with the London team, servicing major clients, and contributing to the growth of the Real Estate practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead real estate transactions, acting as the primary solicitor where appropriate.
  • Delegate tasks to and provide feedback to junior team members, including Solicitors, Trainees and paralegals.
  • Strengthen and manage client relationships by anticipating needs, providing updates on progress, and ensuring prompt responses.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to contribute to the strategic development of the Real Estate practice.
  • Comply with risk requirements, firm policies, and relevant professional responsibilities, contributing to billing, engagement, and client acceptance processes.
  • Liaise with clients and teams, fostering effective communication on fee-earning projects and other initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or Northern Ireland. Republic of Ireland or other common law jurisdictions will be considered.
  • c4 years’ relevant PQE with a proven track record in real estate.
  • Strong legal skills, including drafting, negotiation, and project management.
  • Foundation-level people management and business development skills.
  • Familiarity with legal technology tools, such as artificial intelligence tools for due diligence.
  • Understanding of law firm profitability and ability to contribute to cost management and budgeting.
