What does your new job involve?

• Providing technical leadership to a multi-skilled technical team and vendors
• Accountability for identification and delivery of solution design within projects
• Implementing developmental methodologies and tools that ensure quality solutions are delivered in an optimum timeframe
• Mentoring, coaching and training junior members of the team
• Solution delivery and implementation
• Operational support of the Customer Data Platform

The Essentials:

• Experience of three or more of the following tech:

• SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Java/J2EE – Enterprise application development and design patterns
• Unix
• Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) System
• .Net Framework (C#.NET, VB.NET ASP.NET)
• Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle RDBMS
• REST or SOAP based web services APIs
• Windows Server
• Network Topology
• Azure

• Understanding of OO programming
• Experience in the implementation of software applications
• Experience as a technical lead within the delivery of a software application

Desirable:

• Experience within the Energy and Utility sectors
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles
