What does your new job involve?

• The identification and implementation of solution designs within projects
• Building stakeholder relationships
• Providing technical oversight, expert advice and support to technical teams and vendors
• Mentoring junior members of the team

The Essentials:

• Experience of three or more of the following tech:

–          Software development e.g. .Net Framework (C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET)

–          API technologies e.g. REST or SOAP based web services

–          Data manipulation e.g. SQL, and/or PL/SQL

–          Azure

–          IT Infrastructure

–          Network infrastructure

–          Database technologies e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle RDBMS

• Experience of the security considerations associated with the implementations of secure applications or infrastructure solutions
• Experience in the implementations of solutions including high-level and low level designs, quality delivery methods and transition into live operations

Desirable:

• Experience in the Energy/Utility sectors
• Experience as a Technical Lead within a project
• Experience working within Agile/Waterfall delivery teams
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles
• Understanding of OO programming
• Understanding of Qlik/Microsoft data warehousing
• Understanding of Cyber Security/InfoSec
