Do you want to be part of a family run company who are one of the leading jewellers in UK & Ireland. As part of expansion, they are looking to grow their Marketing Team through the addition of a Social Media Assistant in order to ensure we deliver the Marketing key objectives for 2022.This is a newly created role where you assist various members of the Marketing Team to ensure the smooth running of the department and carry out delegated workload.
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Marketing Manager, the key aspects of this role are:
· You will assist the Digital Media Executive in delivering the Key Objectives for the Social Media requirements of the company and its brand partners.
· You will create and launch content to ensure KPI’s are met and that the content is reflected of the brand’s requirements
· Under the guidance of the Digital Media Executive, you will implement and co-ordinate all of this company’s day-to-day social media activities, as determined by the company & brand partners’ priorities, goals, and their digital marketing strategy
· Under the guidance of the Digital Media Executive, you will coordinate and schedule content for all platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn using various scheduling tools as appropriate
· Under the guidance of the Digital Media Executive, you will draft copy and edit images for all posts, including paid and promoted posts/adverts using the required editing programmes
· You will assist with the campaigning of Company Events including assistance with any other co-ordination in relation to these
· You will assist the Marketing Assistant as duties require
Person Specification
At least 2 years’ experience to demonstrate the following:
- You are enthusiastic and up for a challenge, with a can-do attitude
- You are a creative individual who is always coming up with ideas
- You are hungry to learn and up-skill
- Use social media platforms such as Facebook, Linkedin, Tiktok
- You can deliver workload ahead of anticipated timeframes to a high standard
- You have a great planning and organisation mindset to workload
- You can carry out detailed work to a high standard
- You have experience in creating content and posting on social media
Desirable criteria:
- Marketing/Digital Marketing degree
