As a Lawyer in the team, you will be entrusted with managing a diverse caseload, making critical decisions, and contributing to the success of the firm. Your role will involve handling cases from start to finish, drawing on your extensive legal knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Case Management: Efficiently manage and handle a broad range of cases, showcasing your expertise in Personal Injury law, with a focus on evidence assessment, liability determination, and quantum calculation.

Collaboration: Collaborate with experienced team members, provide guidance to junior colleagues, and assist with supervision as needed.

Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering exceptional legal counsel, both in person and over the phone.

Legal Expertise: Apply your knowledge of PI law, conveyancing, and criminal processes to deliver top-tier legal services to our clients.

Deadline Management: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by meeting deadlines consistently, even with minimal supervision.

Communication: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, including drafting and advocacy abilities.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Good knowledge of PI law.
- Knowledge of conveyancing and/or the criminal process.
- Proficiency in evidence rules, litigation processes, and funding.
- Strong numerical skills for special damages calculation.
- Ability to prioritize, work swiftly, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent in using Microsoft Outlook, case management systems, Excel, and Word.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with statutory duties related to employer/employee situations.
- Knowledge of common law pertinent to PI.
- Trial experience.
- Experience working with trade unions.
- Experience with electronic case management systems.
Qualifications:
- Admitted solicitor to the Roll of Solicitors in NI.
