What you’ll do

  • Deliver high-quality support to end-users in a courteous professional manner.
  • Support desktop technology and applications.
  • Respond to calls and manage issues until resolution.
  • Flexible in approach, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity when necessary
  • Provide support on site for assigned office as scheduled by management. Including support of remote sites, which travel may be required.
  • Provide reasonable out of office availability when scheduled prior to an event, or additional support requirements.
  • You can investigate problems in systems, processes and services, with an understanding of the level of a problem. You can contribute to the implementation of remedies and preventative measures.
  • Service reporting. You can collate data from depositories and provide basic reporting.
  • You have an awareness or understanding of user experience analysis and its principles. You can see the purpose of user stories and focus on user needs.
  • Complete mandatory training by the required deadlines.
  • Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties.
  • Escalate to the appropriate functional head any violation of any Company policy including, but not limited to, any violation of any policy contained in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook or any other stand-alone policy promulgated by the Compliance, Finance, or Human Resources Departments.
  • Other duties as may be required.

What you need

  • IT related Degree
  • 1 years placement experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office O365.
  • Knowledge of Operating systems (e.g. MS Windows, Apple OS).
  • Knowledge of Audio and Video Conferencing technologies.
  • General computing skills are essential to this role.
  • This role is ideal for a person moving into a technology support function.
  • Technical or ITIL certifications would be highly regarded.
