In your New Role:

As Systems Accountant you will be reporting directly to Financial Controller and play a vital role in the implementation of a new ERP system. We are seeking a proactive, solutions driven Accountant to work as part of the team responsible for the implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with project team to lead the development, implementation, and optimisation of Coins/AssetTagz system for stock management.
• Design and implement internal system controls to provide quality assurance over financial data
• Ensure processes and procedures are updated within finance function and wider business to reflect any new ways of working with Coins/Assetagz.
• Ensure reports are validated prior to use in the business and work with key stakeholders to review and develop process change.
• Train and support cross functional team members in the use of systems and updated company procedures.
• Support the business as it prepares to go live on the new system
• Post launch support as Coins super user responsible for systems integrity – provide consistent and approachable point of contact for stakeholders
• Work cross functionally to identify and resolve system problems, always looking for opportunities for improvement

Person Specification

• IT literate, especially in excel and ERP systems.
• Experience of business partnering in a commercial entity
• Being part of a systems implementation team previously is a major plus!
• Strong analytical and systems mindset.
• Someone that thrives within a busy and varied role.
• Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant or at least 3 years in a finance/systems environment
• Ability to use initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for their work.
