20 January, 2023This leading decarbonising utilities company is looking for a technical Analyst to join there team right here in Belfast, as they continue on their IT roadmap journey.
What you’ll do
- Responsibility for providing root cause analysis to systems issues and management of third level support of solutions in production.
- Acting as a system expert by responding to and developing ad hoc queries and scripts, providing application support and updating legacy IT systems.
- Ensuring priority incidents are responded to and closed within the SLAs.
- Capturing and coordinating requirements on incidents.
- Engaging with internal customers/third parties to ensure the systems solutions continuously meet business requirements.
- Planning, design and documentation of IT systems.
- Liaising with internal customers to define functional and non-functional software specifications. Communicating business specifications in a clear and concise manner.
- Conducting a review of software development, test cases and evidence before applying changes to the production environment.
- You will work within the team to triage and investigate defects in production systems and producing workarounds for critical issues as well as change request for end-user systems.
What you need
- Proven experience in Salesforce components to include flow components/email alerts/validation rules.
- Proven knowledge of Windows batch code and Windows server OS.
- Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and databases.
- Ability to manage change sets and sandboxes within Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Apex class/ Apex trigger/ Java coding.
- Knowledge of Conga Composer or similar mail merging applications.
- Proactive approach to analysis, test and implement changes enforced through Salesforce Summer, Spring and Winter Releases.
Nice to have
- Good communication skills for liaising with users/third party support/Salesforce account executives. Understanding of License management and renewals.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Change Management lifecycle process.
- Experience of working within an Agile environment.
- Ability to present technical changes at Change Advisory Board for approval for live implementation.
