16 June, 2021A leading energy company are looking for an experienced Technical Analyst with a strong foundation in application development and support, to come on board and work across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing root cause analysis to systems issues and management of third level support of solutions in production
• Acting as a system expert by responding to and developing ad hoc queries and scripts, providing application support and updating legacy IT systems
• Ensuring priority incidents are responded to and closed within the SLAs
• Capturing and coordinating requirements on incidents
• Engaging with internal customers/third parties to ensure the systems solutions continuously meet business requirements
• Planning, design and documentation of IT systems
• Liaising with internal customers to define functional and non-functional software specifications
• Communicating business specifications in a clear and concise manner
Essential Criteria:
• Proven experience in the following technologies: Oracle RDBMS / MySQL / MS SQL, Server Shell Scripting – (Unix/Linux)
• Proven experience in developing Stored Procedures and ETL pipelines
• Proven experience in Design, Development and Deployment with SSIS, SSRS & SSAS
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills and programming ability
