Test Analyst

What will you be doing?

• Perform testing responsibilities, including analysis of user stories and functional specifications
• Writing and executing test cases (manual or automated)
• Collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Providing business guidance, expertise and support in an advisory capacity

 What do you need?

• Experience as a Test Analyst or testing software applications within an IT environment
• ISTQB Certification
• Experience of producing a Test Traceability Matrix
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile frameworks
• Knowledge of different types of testing, including functional, regression, performance and usability testing
• Proficiency in using Test Management tools and defect tracking systems (Jira)
• Experience in designing and executing Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts
• Experience in identifying and escalating any project risks and issues

What could help you stand out?

• SQL experience
• Knowledge of a broad range of software applications, hardware and networks
• Experience of testing or using applications in the utility sectors
• Experience of automated testing tools
