My client is a key player in the insurance industry since 2011, and is on the lookout for a Trainee Commercial Account Handler to join their dynamic team in Belfast City.

About the Role:

As a Trainee Commercial Account Handler, you’ll kickstart your journey in their Commercial department. Your responsibilities will range from obtaining quotations for new and existing clients to preparing renewal notices and processing sales. Accuracy is key as you handle mid-term adjustments and liaise with insurers and partners.

What You’ll Do:

• Obtain quotations and process policies
• Prepare renewal notices for existing clients
• Admin tasks and document issuance
• Outbound leads and build customer relationships
• Identify cross-sell opportunities
• Maximise sales and set up finance agreements
• Liaise with insurers and partners
• Meet performance and quality targets

Personal Specification:

• 5 GCSEs (including Maths & English)
• Cert CII qualified preferred
• Previous experience in insurance or related fields (Customer Service/Banking/Financial Services)
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word)
• Ability to multitask and use initiative
• Good interpersonal skills
• Articulate, ambitious, and self-motivated
