Learning and Development Month at Abacus Careers
Did you know the Abacus team have 150 years’ combined experience in Recruitment? Who better to learn from than the experts!
June is our Learning and Development Focus Month, where all of our consultants will come together each day to share their knowledge and best practise tips to each other.
They are all taking part (and facilitate) in a number of activities including; on-the-job coaching and mentoring, sprint knowledge sessions, as well as contributing content to our Training Manual! From Directors to our 1-week new starters, we’re all getting involved to help and support each other.
As an employer with an IIP (Investors in People) Gold Audit Award, we support, nurture and value our internal talent. This helps us build a high-performance workplace, encourage a learning organisation, and add value to our Marketing and branding agenda. It’s important for Abacus to develop and signpost career opportunities for all employees and creative strategies for unleashing employee potential.
It’s important for us as an organisation to understand the key challenges we’re facing in an ever-changing recruitment market, and how that translates to being able to attract, retain and develop talented people so that we can meet immediate and future strategic objectives and business needs.
L+D focus month (and beyond) will provide continual knowledge and skills in this ever-changing, fast-paced environment so that we can deliver the best service to our clients and talented candidates.
