Accounting Technician – City Centre Practice

Abacus Careers are working with a prestigious city centre practice on their search for an experienced Accounting Technician / Accounts Senior to help grow their outstanding organisation. Boasting an exclusive and diverse client base, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of general accounting and/or book keeping experience to join a company with an unrivalled reputation and a terrific team environment.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

• Responsible for their own portfolio of clients; partnerships and unaudited limited companies.
• Excellent knowledge of Sage line 50
• Monthly bank, loans & cash reconciliations
• Purchase Ledger and credit control
• Payroll for external clients
• VAT Calculations
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Preparation of financial statements and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and customer focus

Salary for this role will be negotiable depending on experience, we will seek to reward at the highest level for the right candidates.
