Business Development Lead (Digital)

Abacus are currently partnering with a Digital Design Consultancy to recruit a Business Development Lead . Our client is searching for a passionate business developer to help build their reputation, develop a pipeline of opportunities, and win new clients in the Irish digital health sector.

In this role, you will find yourself collaborating with the creative team to coordinate marketing campaigns to raise their profile and engage potential clients in digital health. Having worked in the health sector in Ireland, you will leverage your market knowledge to engage the community, build a pipeline of leads and drive business growth through the acquisition of new clients.

As an ideal candidate, you are motivated to create better user and patient experiences through good design. You will bring a background in lead generation through digital marketing to the role. A skilled communicator, you consider yourself a creative problem-solver with expertise in account management and a track-record of building relationships.

Responsibilities

As the Business Development Lead (Digital), you will:

Work closely with senior management team to drive business growth in NI and ROI 

Plan and coordinate relevant content and campaigns that engage prospects

Carry out ongoing research into market trends and emerging technologies 

Use a range of digital tools and channels to build a pipeline of leads and ideal client profiles

Lead efforts to secure meetings with qualified prospects 

Track progress against relevant KPIs such as engagement and lead generation 

Collaborate with our senior team on credentials presentations and compelling proposals

Collaborate with people from different backgrounds and with different specialist skills, such as UX designers, service designers, research specialists and strategists.

About you

Our client is searching for someone with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a digital marketing or account management role, ideally in the health and life sciences sector in Ireland.

Knowledgeable about digital health, digital transformation, or adjacent business areas

Able to bridge digital design services to client needs

A strategic and creative problem solver

Both resourceful and resilient

A strong communicator
