Construction Solicitor, Disputes

On behalf of a leading UK-wide law firm, Abacus are currently recruiting for a solicitor to join an expanding and busy Construction team.

You will be a qualified Solicitor, ideally in E&W (but this can be flexible) and offer at 3+ years’ PQE gained within a busy and well-regarded Construction law team.

Your experience will ideally have been gained within a large firm or niche practice and you will be familiar with all aspects of construction. This role is a mostly contentious role, therefore experience of general construction disputes, building disputes or even strong commercial litigation with an interest in construction law will be considered.

You will also be involved in some of the non-contentious work too, specifically advising clients on a range of contracts and agreements with a focus on ‘dispute avoidance’.  You will be comfortable managing your own case load along with assisting the head of the Belfast team with their growth plans.

Their quality of work remains very high and teams often work collaboratively across their multiple branches across the UK.  The firm also rewards their staff well financially and recognises performance by means of related bonus. Their benefits package is very good too.  For further information, please contact Stuart John in confidence.
