What you’ll do

·        Contribute to the overall administration of the ICT Department ensuring that administrative procedures are adhered to.

·        Participate in call handling, system input, ticket logging, processing and maintaining, records, handling correspondence, updating ICT business systems and providing information in a timely manner to the Head of ICT and Managers.

·        Report problems swiftly and ensure outputs do not compromise ICT systems or infrastructure and all actions are carried out in the best interests of the Association.

·        Assist the Managers as and when required and to act in their support with the provision of any other relevant information.

·        Support the business in identifying any IT requirements.

·        Produce reports, spreadsheets and information packs as directed.

·        Create and maintain databases for department systems.

·        To effectively communicate internally and externally e.g. answer telephone, deal with queries and answer correspondence.

·        Support the administration of planned maintenance, servicing, response maintenance and adaptations, and database.

·        Contribute to corporate and departmental project work as directed.

What you need

·        at least 5 GCSE’s or equivalent to include English and Maths (at a minimum of Grade C)

·        AND 2 years’ relevant administration experience.

·        IT literate with demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office to include excel spread sheets.

·        Excellent customer service skills.

·        Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and report with accuracy and attention to detail.

This includes the efficient and effective maintenance of all administrative procedures with regard to the key aspects of the Department’s work. ICT Admin Page 2 of 4 June 2022 3.0 General 3.1 Undertake activities, where appropriate, representing the Association in a respectful and mutually supportive manner to external groups or the general public. 3.2 Conduct all activities in a manner which is safe to yourself and others acting at all times in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy. 3.3 Employees represent the Association and should attend work neat, tidy and clean in appearance which includes their work area/clear desk in line with the Code of Conduct and Health and Safety policy. 3.4 Undertake other delegated duties appropriate to the scope and function of the grade of post including cover duties during periods of absence e.g. sickness, annual leave. 3.5 Promote and ensure compliance with the Association’s statutory Equality Duties. The post is based at Belfast and Holywood. However, due to the nature of the Association’s stock, this post has a mobility clause in that the post holder must be prepared to work as directed and support as and when required other locations.
