Financial Accountant

A prestigious Manufacturing firm in the Cookstown area is on the lookout for a Management Accountant who is also keen on exposure to management accounts. My client has a fantastic team who will be on hand to help the successful candidate get up to speed. This is an ideal role for a PQ accountant or Management Accountant.

Salary – Market Rate

Role and responsibilities:

• Ad hoc analysis and project work associated with a growing business
• Carrying out internal audits and assisting in gathering information for external audits
• Cost analysis and product costing as required
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including journals, profit and loss accounts, balance sheet and cash flows
• Preparation of reports for senior management
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and control accounts

What do we look for?

• PQ Accountant or working towards qualifications
• Worked in a fast-paced working environment
• Strong IT and systems background
