Senior Financial Crime Manager

Abacus Group are working with a leading global professional services firm to recruit for a Senior Financial Crime Manager to join the team. You will be working with a company that is constantly reinvesting into the Belfast site and their staff with no signs of slowing down. This role will suit a Senior Manager with experience of operational delivery, scaling up large teams, and involvement with tenders, with the plan to make the step into a Director level position.

Role:

  • In conjunction with operational delivery managers, assume responsibility for quality, risk and governance, and seek ways to continually improve processes, drive efficiencies, and automate processes through the use of technology where possible.
  • Deliver relevant, cost effective and process efficient solutions that meet client’s needs and objectives.
  • This responsibility runs in parallel of the continuous demonstration of successful leadership, through building, managing, and developing high performing teams.
  • To build and maintain relationships across the network, to position our services and capability and maintaining relationships with Partners and central teams.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their needs and having the vision to identify their potential needs in the future.
  • Strategy – identifying key issues faced by the business within the context of the wider firm.
  • Governance of delivery programmes to meet contractual obligations, budgetary, timescales and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability in set up and operational delivery of multiple large scale complex programmes in an operational environment.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment and upcoming regulatory changes
  • The ability to build and maintain an agile framework to service large scale client programmes including metrics and reporting to accurately articulate performance to clients, whilst ensuring all programmes meet contractual obligations, budgetary and regulatory standards.
