Our clients are seeking an enthusiastic and driven professional to join their growing team as a Key Accounts Manager. You will be joining one of the UK’s top manufacturers to act as the main point of contact for key customers.

Responsibilities
Customer management – from lead generation up until dispatch of order and aftercare
Provide an excellent customer experience ensuring customer expectations are managed and optimum satisfaction levels are maintained
Build and maintain an excellent rapport with customers and all stakeholders through exceptional communication & negotiation skills
Ensure the timely resolution of any escalated customer complaints or queries
Pro-actively seek business development opportunities and work towards achieving the company growth objectives
Assist with tendering processes for new business
Manage the sales appointment diary to ensure regular face to face customer engagement and leads are suitably pursued
Keep up to date with technological & virtual tools to assist with interacting with customers in an efficient manner
Ensure the company is suitably represented at relevant trade shows and events
Collaborate with marketing personnel to work towards heightened company & product awareness
Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and threats to the business
Maintain accurate records and produce regular sales reports for the senior team
Keep up to date with developments within the sector and remain commercially astute
Demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality and commercial ethics
Essential Criteria
Minimum of 3 years account management experience preferably within the engineering sector
Willingness to undertake regular travel (predominantly UK & ROI)
Proven track record in selling & developing new business
Adaptable with the ability to learn new products, markets & sales strategies
Confident and capable of working on own initiative
Experience in managing large high value accounts
Strong communication & negotiation skills
Full clean driving license
Sound level of IT literacy
Willingness to immerse oneself in the NHL culture and become a brand ambassador for the company
Commercially astute & highly confidential
MRP experience
Desirable Criteria
5 years + key account / sales management experience
Engineering sector experience
Experience of sales marketing activities (co-ordinating representation at trade shows etc)
