Solicitor – Catastrophic Injury

We are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting talented litigation solicitors to join their team, dealing with large loss and catastrophic injury claims.

About the Firm

The firm provides a full range of legal and claims related services to the Northern Ireland insurance market. The team has extensive experience, including industrial disease, employers’ liability, credit hire, corporate manslaughter, personal injury, catastrophic loss and counter-fraud claims. The firm fosters a culture that values collaboration, innovation, and excellence!

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of complex, high court matters including fatal claims, brain injury, amputations, and spinal cord injuries. This will be high value, high quality litigation work. 

The Person

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Experience of dealing with indemnity, liability and quantum.
• Experience of complex medical issues is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong forensic skills to investigate cases effectively
• Effective negotiator to resolve disputes efficiently
