The Job:

As a Litigation Partner specialising in personal injury law, you will play a pivotal role in leading the legal team in Belfast. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your extensive experience as a senior solicitor to manage and oversee a dedicated personal injury team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of solicitors and support staff specialising in personal injury litigation.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional development and promoting a positive work culture.
  2. Case Management:

    • Manage a portfolio of complex personal injury cases, overseeing all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution.
    • Conduct thorough legal research, analysis, and strategy development to effectively represent clients and achieve favourable outcomes.
    • Review and assess case files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to firm standards.
  3. Client Relations:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.
    • Cultivate strong client relationships through exceptional service, professionalism, and integrity, earning trust and loyalty.
  4. Business Development:

    • Play a key role in business development efforts, including client acquisition, retention, and expansion of the personal injury practice.
    • Identify opportunities for growth and strategic partnerships, contributing to the firm’s overall success and market presence.
  5. Legal Expertise:

    • Stay abreast of developments in personal injury law, regulations, and industry trends, applying expertise to effectively represent clients and achieve favourable outcomes.
    • Provide strategic guidance and legal advice to clients and colleagues, demonstrating proficiency in negotiation and mediation

Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with substantial experience practicing personal injury law in Northern Ireland.
  • Demonstrated track record of success as a senior solicitor, with experience managing a team and overseeing complex litigation matters.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach to legal practice.
  • Proven business development acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Membership in relevant professional organisations and active participation in continuing legal education programs.
