We are delighted to be assisting one of our established clients as they hire an experienced Accounts Assistant to their Finance Team. We are looking for a candidate with…

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an account’s role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong IT proficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail leading to a high standard of work
  • Ability to deliver a high level of client service and build trusted relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills and self-motivated, able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • A clear communicator who is confident in dealing with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs grades A to C or equivalent, to include Mathematics and English

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for…

  • Administration of payments, responding to queries and preparing remittance advice
  • Administration of bank accounts and monthly reconciliations
  • Management of the invoicing process for your respective portfolio of clients
  • Review and issuing statements to clients
  • Post cash received across multiple back accounts
  • Keeping up to date records across your portfolio of clients
  • Assist in providing cover across the team, mainly Purchase Ledger
  • Liaising with clients and various other stakeholders in line with your duties, providing an excellent level of service in line with company values
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

What you need to know…

  • This position is being offered full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Flexible hybrid working after initial internal training period
  • Must be available to work from home and office when required (Belfast City)
  • Competitive salary, depending on level of experience 
  • Benefits include excellent annual leave and pension contribution
  • No industry specific knowledge required, however experience in Service Charge or Property Management accounts would be beneficial.
