Accounts Assistant – Evening Hours – Hybrid

We are seeking experienced level candidates for newly created roles in a large finance team supporting a global business in Belfast!

This position will support the US area of the business, and therefore the normal working hours will be afternoon-evening shifts. If you have been seeking an alternative working pattern to the usual 9-5 then this could be a great opportunity for you within a leading global company. You will be able to take part in the company’s hybrid working policy, which means 2 days per week you can work from home. The working pattern will be Monday – Friday.

You will work alongside an experienced finance team, in a collaborative and supportive environment, but should be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and have proven organisational skills to manage your workload.

If you have a desire to undertake a new career in Finance or move from another area in Finance, then full in-house training will be provided.

As a key member of the Accounts Payable team, you will assist* with:

• Accurately recording information onto internal finance systems
• Ensuring appropriate authorisations for invoices and expenses payable
• Responding to internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner
• Generating financial reports and sharing insights with key stakeholders and management
• Preparing payments to meet deadlines
• Assisting the team to reach targets and KPIs
• Working alongside your Team Lead to suggest improvements and engage in Learning & Development opportunities

*duties and training will vary depending on your experience level.
