We are seeking ambitious candidates who have experience working in a finance or accounting role who have a keen interest in financial analysis. As a Commercial Financial Analyst, you will be supporting the Finance BP in key areas such as P&L reporting, budgets and forecasting, and profitability analysis.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Financial Analyst

• Support the Finance Business Partner with financial analysis and reporting including P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Control rebate, sales support and prebate contracts
• Prebate and rebate reporting.
• Work with sales and commercial team around reporting and margin analysis.
• Assist in developing new and insightful sales and margin reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insight to assist key decision making around commercial strategy.
• Support with sales budget and forecasts.
• Ad hoc support.

The successful candidate should have…

• Experience in working in a finance or accounting focused role (1+ years)
• Part-qualification with a professional accounting body or currently studying towards
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (desired)
• Experience in working with sales teams, ERPs and analysis tools
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, strong numeracy skills and proactive work ethic
