Employment Solicitor

The Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Solicitor to join our prestigious global law client. As an Employment Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of employment law matters. Your role will involve handling complex cases, offering strategic guidance, and collaborating with colleagues across jurisdictions to ensure the clients receive the highest level of service.

This role is based in NI however you will be dealing with global clients, working across multiple jurisdictions and partnering with Employment colleagues within the Firms global network. It is expected that you would help grow the operation within NI so would suit someone who has solid business development experience and a desire to develop the Employment function locally.

The role would suit someone with:

• Qualified solicitor with a valid license to practice (E&W, RoI or NI)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law, preferably with experience in a top-tier law firm 
• Strong understanding of international and local employment laws, regulations, and practices.
• Proven track record in handling complex employment law cases and providing strategic advice to clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to develop business locally
• Demonstrated business development acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for client growth.
