Fantastic global professional services who have been operating in Belfast for 12 months now are looking to grow their finance function.

Working very closely with the Group FD whilst also helping develop a small team of junior staff the role gives a broad range of opportunity. Ideal role for a technical accountant with strong knowledge in reporting and controls.

This role can offer progression as the NI team continues to grow but also the opportunity to move internally within the larger group.

Salary – £45,000 – £55,000

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the Month End close and financial reporting process, including balance sheet reconciliations and submissions to Group Finance
• Lead the preparation of monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and commentary of the financial results
• Lead the preparation and submission of VAT and Intrastat returns
• Support business stakeholders with regards to financial reporting and ad-hoc queries
• Lead the preparation and review of Year-End reporting
• Liaise with Group Finance and Group Tax as required during the Year-End process

• Assist department managers in preparation for Budget and Forecast deadlines.

What do we look for?

• Fully Qualified Accountant – 3+ Years PQE
• Strong technical reporting background
• Ideally overseen junior staff
• Strong background and understanding of accounting policies
