Abacus are offering the opportunity, for an experienced Financial Controller, to supervise a small finance team, within a globally renowned company. Keen to take on board an individual, who has worked within the manufacturing industry. This company has a turnover, circa £10million and requires entrepreneurial thinking to ensure profits are raised and finance runs smoothly.
With a major handover and a supportive team at hand, you will feel confident in excelling in this new role!

What will your role entail?
- Supervise a small team
- Prepare and manage accounts
- Deliver monthly reporting and complete year end reports
- Complete internal and external audits
- Commercial aspect- manage contracts and liaise with other teams
- Working capital of annual stock take
- Communicate effectively within GB teams alongside General Manager
- Business planning and forecasting
- Completion of VAT returns
- Review payroll, reconciliations and journals
- Manage budget growth and financial policies
- Laise with sales director
Who do we want?
- Chartered Accountant- 4+ years PQE
- Experience leading a small team
