The Role
Our client a sales rep to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the business within Northern Ireland through effective sales, margin control and relationship management.
- To develop the business through effective sales growth, relationship management in both the on and off trades
- Responsibility for achieving quarterly sales and margin targets in line with the objectives of the Drinks Inc business overall
- To grow the Key account business in the area by developing existing relationships
- To win and develop profitable new business and work with the broader team on opportunities.
- To develop on and off trade Wine sales by growing our market share
- Specifically, to secure new on trade wine lists
- Implement the company marketing plans driving promotions and NPD
- Full compliance with the company credit control policy
- To work with all support functions including logistics, trading, marketing and tele sales to drive customer service
- Build upon and enhance the cross functional relationships across the wider organsiation
Essential:
- Strong sales experience within a proactive field-based sales role
- A min. of 3 + years’ experience within the licensed trade in particular
- Proven experience of growing sales and achieving targets within the Drinks industry
- Strong commercial acumen and customer focus
- Ability to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure
- Excellent planning, and organisational skills
- People person with the ability to network and build strong working relationships
- Full clean driving license
- Competent in MS Office to include excel and word
Desirable
- Good understanding of the Drinks industry model
- A strong interest / knowledge of the wine industry
