Tax Manager/Senior Tax Manager – Join a growing team!

Not all tax jobs are the same and importantly, not all tax teams are the same. 

Abacus are very pleased to be working with the senior leadership team of a Big 4 firm as they continue to grow their business tax compliance and transaction teams.

Based from Belfast, this group is lead by 4 Directors, two of which are ‘home-grown’ and two of which are joiners.  They all have been promoted to this level in the last 2 years and are open and willing to engage with those interested in finding out more about this firms offering.

The focus for work is very wide-ranging, from compliance to advisory to special projects.  Typically this group are involved in working with UK Mid-Market business either prepping for sale or purchase. The tax work will centre upon pre and post-sale restructuring, due diligence and re-financing.  It is technically challenging work but experienced professionals are on-site locally and throughout the UK network if needed.

2024 will be a big year for this team, adding new team members at Manager and Senior Manager level is no1 priority.  Abacus and our client, are eager to speak with Experienced Tax Professionals (CA or Tax Technician and Chartered Tax Advisor) that have a desire to:

1 – Be an active member of a collaborative and supportive team

&

2 Progress in terms of knowledge, responsibility and position

All teams and department are not the same, if you are interested in this opportunity it will be very easy for you to find out all you need.  In particular we are keen to talk to Assistant Managers that wish to move to Manager, and Managers that wish to move to Senior Manager.
