Abacus Careers are seeking finance professionals with experience in a procurement related role who are seeking a career advancing opportunity with a global firm. What will you be responsible for?

  • Review, prepare and process purchase orders (POs)
  • Follow-up and resolve any PO issues.
  • Manage PO statuses and resolve invoicing issues with Accounts Payable teams
  • Process order return or replacement when required.
  • Assist with reporting, analysis, and project initiatives of your team.
  • Contribute to establishing and maintaining product catalogues in the P2P system.
  • Assist with maintaining the accuracy of records in the P2P system.

What experience do you need?

  • Experience in a procurement related role, being able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the procurement life cycle.
  • Experience of working within a professional service environment.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Understanding of SAP environment (Desirable)
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner (both oral and written)

  • Ability to coordinate within a team and manage workload efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet all required deadlines/SLAs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to carry out responsibilities independently and to a high standard.

  • Confident in communicating with all levels of the business.
