Accounts Payable Assistant

We are seeking someone interested in kickstarting or developing their career in Finance with a multi-national firm. As part of this transactional finance team, the Accounts Payable Assistant will process payments and assist in controlling expenses. If you like working with numbers, have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, this role would be great for you!

What’s involved?

• End to end processing of invoices and expenses
• Posting invoices to the correct accounts, ensuring charged appropriately
• Processing payments to vendors, investigating and resolving any issues
• Reconciliation of vendor accounts and related transactions
• Process and review employee expense report
• Ensure compliance with policies and controls
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate records and filing
• Manage inbox and respond to all queries in a timely manner

What the successful candidate will need?

• Graduate of a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related area OR
• 1-2 years’ experience in a finance administration role, preferably within Professional or Finance Services environment

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in a KPI driven environment
• Experience in an Accounts Payable role
