Important numbers…
05 October 2023 by Justin Rush
20 years in business is a big milestone, one which everyone at Abacus Careers is proud to celebrate. In truth, this anniversary has really crept up on us – there has been a lot going on in recent years (Great Resignation, Financial Crisis, Pandemic, etc). It is only when we take a few moments to consider the journey so far, that we are able to list some important numbers.
20 years supporting the growth of locally based businesses.
From teams of 50+ for newly established Foreign Direct Investment companies to one-off hires of Lawyers, Accountants, Office Managers, HR Managers, and more. We take a lot of pride in seeing our clients grow through the connections we help make.
70,000+ candidates have engaged with Abacus since 2003.
That is a lot of people! We have not been able to place everyone, but we like to think we have helped support everyones job search with advice, guidance, and encouragement.
100’s of satisfied customers.
We can’t list all our customers (there are a large number on our ‘About Abacus’ page) but we do value them all very highly. From Start-ups to PLCs, every business has its own unique story and offering, we like to think we are a bunch of talented recruiters who can bring a business to life beyond job descriptions and person specifications.
4.9 Stars on Google Reviews.
When the professionals we place take the time to highlight the positive experiences they have had when working with our team, it really puts a skip in our step. We are nothing without the people we represent, we never forget that.
100+ years combined international recruitment experience.
We have some very ‘seasoned’ recruitment professionals in our team and some great ‘young guns’. They all share the same passion to help place the right people in the best roles. We have not mentioned the exact number of year’s experience our team possesses, that is because it may just make some of us feel a little old!
5,000+ placements of permanent, temporary, and contract staff.
For us, every placement is important. Finding a new job can mean many different things. To some people, it’s a first step on their career journey, for others it is the job they have been working 20 years to obtain. Where and what we spend 40 hours a week doing is massive – we don’t take that for granted.
We have some exciting plans ahead for the next 5, 10 and 20 years. Our values, approach, and professionalism will not be changing, even though the personnel probably will!
Thanks to all of those people who have been part of our journey so far, we are nothing without you!
