Head of Audit Operations – Industry

This global firm are building out their internal audit function and are now looking to add their leader within Audit Operations. This is an important role that requires someone with 8+ years experience within internal audit so they can hit the ground running and work autonomously on building out controls and processes in this area that they’ll oversee. You will report directly to and work closely with the Chief Audit Officer.

This is early stages for this global firm and a team will eventually be built under you, so it’s a great opportunity for anyone who really wants to make their mark and get stuck into this hands on role that requires you to get your sleeves rolled up.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and develop internal audit policies and procedures
• Develop and create QA plans for board review
• Plan and execute QA assignments and ensure all risk types are covered
• Develop and uphold reporting strategies and procedures
• Ad hoc projects

Who They Are Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant or internal audit equivalent
• 10+ years internal audit experience
• Experience with senior stake holders
• Experience leading internal audit projects and assignments
