Site Lead, Belfast

A leading international law firm is hiring a new Site Lead to oversee and manage the growing operations and function within Belfast. This is a global and multi-award-winning brand, Top 100 practice, with a presence in many jurisdictions and a highly impressive blue-chip client base.

The Role:

You will support the strategic plans and lead operational management of the legal function

You will work closely with established Team Leaders to continue to deliver exceptional service and oversee people, performance and profitability

Manage and promote the brand with local and international stakeholders (at all levels) and provide strategic support to future direction of the operation

Optimise resource capacity, manage budgets, performance and profitability of all workstreams and accounts  

Provide data oversight, performance reports and forecasts on workforce capacity and oversee client service delivery and KPIs (e.g. responsiveness, volume)

Support Team Leads to manage best-practice policies and procedures, support team retention and culture (team building, social, charitable support)

Review and monitor templates and playbooks, encourage continuous improvement and provide root cause analysis and corrective action for service failures

Oversee recruitment and work with colleagues to support legal and non-legal functions

Provide a strong presence within the site and support people development and best practice, work with colleagues to optimise functions and operations

Manage internal comms and meetings at formal and informal levels.

Requirement:

Demonstrate operational management skills and experience, ideally within a legal and/or professional environment

Developed experience of strategic planning, workforce optimisation and ideally overseeing a team to deliver management of high volume legal case work

Strong leadership qualities including effective communication

People management, motivation, mentoring, development, maintaining strong culture and team dynamic

Interaction with government agencies or departments an advantage.

Offering strong Project Management experience is beneficial, along with experience of Smartsheet and / or Power BI is useful.
